Working out and getting healthy is one of the many things that all of us want to do. But, when it comes to actually doing it, those who do it are rare. First off, when working out, the worst way to do it is every day. Yes, I know what you’re thinking and every amateur is thinking the same thing. If I workout every single day, I will lose more weight and gain more muscle. Well, not exactly. You see, your body needs rest after a full-body workout. You don’t gain any muscle when the actual process of working out is occurring, you actually gain muscle when you are resting. And 48 hours is the perfect amount of time your body needs to rest and then you can go back to the gym. Repeat this step for as long as you want.

I already mentioned that an important thing is to buy protein supplement. But, why? We need it because protein is the biggest reason why we bulk up on muscle. It makes up 25% of our muscles, while the rest is made of water and it is storage for glycogen. You can get protein through food. Eating eggs, fish, pork and beef and drinking dairy products are only a few of the ways to get protein. But, the fact is that we would have to eat a lot of these foods in order to get to the minimum requirement for protein.
